Bottom Dump trailer FINISHED with Outside Pictures

Thanks Joe this assembly was very tricky to build and make it work lol.

Added some more details to the bottom assembly and pneumatic cylinders to open and close the gates.

I’m getting closer to being finished it’s just when I start working on it I see more details that I can add to this but I think I’m there with it. I’ve finished the working load tarp and started painting. The white area will be silver.

I was able to spray paint the silver paint today and build the remote control box.

I’m just waiting on some new material to replace the load tarp and I’ll be finished with this one. Next will be to build a cab to tow it. It’s going to be a Dodge LS 1000 day cab.

I’m finished with the bottom dump trailer now. Here’s the features I built in the trailer:fifth wheel plate pivots, bottom gates open and close, landing legs are adjustable and the load tarp opens and closes. I’ve started on the Dodge cab that will be towing this. Thanks for everyone’s comments on my build.

great scratch building!! this came out great! display that it with pride!! so what is the benefit of having a bottom dump compared to a regular dump truck? if i am going to comment at these builds, i better know and understand what the heck i am looking at.
